Two men, presumably from Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT), were holding up a large banner in front of the university entrance on 60th and Columbus Avenue, protesting “the US Dirty War In Colombia”. They are also handing out fliers sponsored by CPT, protesting the employment of Álvaro Uribe at Georgetown University, a Jesuit University. According to the fliers, Uribe is a war criminal. Álvaro Uribe was the president of Republic of Colombia from 2002 to 2010.

Fordham security guards were seen speaking to the men at around 3:30 PM. One of the CPT men said, “Fordham security has asked us to leave, but we’re not really doing anything. We are hoping to engage the students, but they seem a little shy.”
