The Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs (IIHA) is presenting “Haiti: One Year Later” on Wednesday, February 23rd in the 12th Floor Lounge of Lowenstein Building at 5:30 P.M.

According to the event description, the IIHA at Fordham University provides a vehicle through which faculty, students, and university members can interact with humanitarian communities. The goal of “Haiti: One Year Later”, as well as the IIHA’s other events, is to create an increased understanding of global humanitarian efforts and supply those efforts with dedicated individuals. The Institute also provides a Master’s in Humanitarian Action and a minor in International Humanitarian Affairs at the undergraduate level.

Wednesday’s event is free and open to the public. Featured speakers include:  Gerald Martone from the International Rescue Committee, Anne Edgerton from OXFAM, Russell Porter from USAID, and Robin Contino from Catholic Relief Services.

If you’re interested in attending this event, RSVP at felz@fordham.edu or visit  the Institute of International Humanitarian Affairs’ website.
