Campus Happenings: The Free Pancake Day Edition

Ashley Tedesco, blog editor

It’s March 1, which means Free Pancake Day at IHOP! The only IHOP in New York City is way up on 135th and Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd., but luckily there’s plenty of delicious food available at Fordham today if you don’t feel like making the trip.

Colleges Against Cancer will be selling cupcakes on the plaza from 11:30 to 3 p.m. If you miss them in the afternoon, catch them again in the evening from 5:45 to 8:30. Proceeds go to Relay for Life.

Want to be a Commuter Freshman Mentor? Stop by the first CFM Info Session today at 1 p.m. in the student lounge.

ISIS will be screening and discussing Very Young Girls, a documentary about sexual exploitation, at 5:30 in the student lounge.

PARty and Peers 2 Peers will host a RamSmart Programming session to view Despicable Me at 7 p.m. in the student lounge.

Need dinner plans? Let GO! Waynesburg sell you their yummy grilled cheese to support their trip. They’ll be set up from 7 p.m. to 9:30 in the McMahon lobby.

Sounds like camping out in the student lounge all day might be a great idea to enjoy some exciting events! Otherwise, get out there and enjoy the sunshine; it’s supposed to reach 45 degrees today!
