Darryl Yu, sports editor

It’s finally over! After losing an abysmal 41 games in a row in the Atlantic 10 (A-10), Fordham ended its three year losing streak with a 77-73 victory over A-10 rivals UMass last Saturday (March 5, 2011). Notching their first A-10 win in three years, the victory capped off an up and down season for the Rams which included a emotional win over NYC rival St John’s, followed by a 17 game losing streak.  Fordham finished the season with a 7-21 overall record and 1-15 A-10 record. Senior Brenton Butler, Fordham College at Rose Hill (FCRH)’11 played his final game as a Ram last Saturday scoring 29 points in the UMass contest.
